Just sack the city already.

The A.I. is aggressive enough to start a war but not take territory. Well I'd actually have a challenge on my hands if the A.I. actually assaulted besieged towns. This is on very hard diff on campaign map. As Julii I was so weak on the northeastern front and weak cavalry wise that the Scythians could have pushed me back to Alesia. I had no amies worthwhile in Vicos Marcomoni Campus lazyges or Damme. So they weren't getting frightened away and they annilated the only army that stood in there way as soon as the war started 300 of 1100 men left (huge settings) who had to go back to the Italian peninsula for a boost in numbers.

If the A.I. could actually destroy the human players income by taking away land in a swift blow things would be very different plus stonewalls may actually be a necessity instead of bragging rights. They had 3 near full stacks and only opposed by 3-4 unit garrisoned towns.

Instead vicos marconni got besieged 4 times and there armies shattered to pieces after they let me build up reconascence.

On normal diff I can understand the A.I. playing around but on very hard every town they besiege and no nearby threat the town should be sacked and to top it off the A.I. needs extermination in it's list of options, basically if theres a culture penalty greater than 20 percent kill em.
