Patch 1.2 problems

I have downloaded the patch 1.2 and have seen that so far even though I have built roads and ports there is no ships coming in or caravans to show the trade. Is this supposed to happened. Please help me. Thanx in advance. :help: ~:confused:

Works fine for me... Are you sure there are no rebels, armies, fleets etc. blocking the trade routes?

You need to have trade rights in order for the roads to show trade, I think. Try negotiating trade rights with some other nations and see if that helps.

Good for you, here in the Philippines there's no such thing as patch...

heres a funny one, im having sound issues since 1.2, i recently tried the drip fed reinforcements, & if you click on the unit there is no sound eminating from them, i have a audigy soundblaster 2 card, i have had driver issues in the past but its been working fine lately,its certainly a strange 1, the other units are fine but no sound from the reinforcements :dizzy2:

In response to the original post: Make sure you have effects detail, in options - video options, at at least High. In the past I have had to switch down effects to Medium setting, so that the game would not crash (not a problem now), and it usually caused caravans and trade fleets to disappear.

I never had sound from reinforcements when I'd click on them or issue commands, pre or post-patch. I just figured it was because they were reinforcements.

Yeah, I've had this problem too, the drip feed reinforcements don't have any sound associated with them, which is weird.

I don't have a sound card, I have onboard sound, but I didn't have this problem with RTW before 1.2.
