Here is my Takeda 'tactic' (On easy mode)
I train an army of Yari Cavalry. Units of 100. A full tack, with Daimyo. With these 1511 men I charge the enemy. 9 times out of ten, the flee before my onslaught! Death! Death! And the world's ending!

Um no, lol, it didn't work too good at Nagashino ... . ~;)
Check out the movie Kagemusha for an interesting depiction of that battle (and an interesting story involving Takeda Shingen, Nobushige, Nobukado, Oda Nobunaga, and Tokugawa Ieyasu).
