I don't know whether this is a know fact, but has anybody ever zoomed in on the scythed chariots moving through grass terrain? ~D
A great little detail. ~

it's little things like this which make it so frustrating to play RTW... you can see how much love and attention the developers TRIED to put into it, but economics of the game industry just ends up ruining it for us all...
Uh he said nothing about the game being ruined lamer, he said it is pretty funny seeing the chariots, kinda like a easter egg, go complain to another lamer who wants to hear you complain.
well, i'll complain to let off my steam, just like you seem to need to flame people to let off your steam.
Elephants, siege weaponry & (I believe) multiple rows of units do this too :)
I agree with tai4ji2x. There are literally hundreds (or thousands) of these little touches that are awesome but the bigger picture of arsy AI, crap combat speed, many obvious bugs, silly ahistorical units & general dumbing down of the game for the mass market make those many bits that are so right so frustrating.
I had a unit of Pontic archer chariots in Cantabrian circle...my unit of Thracian mercenaties was ordered to a point beyond them, so they had to pass through the chariots...
It was hilarious, they would get knocked down by the chariots and their little swords would sticking up just like, uh, uh, their manhood.
Then they would get up again and move some steps and get hit again.
Just like that song.
Jeez, lighten up. He's making a valid point, and in a way it's a kind of backhanded compliment.Quote:

Guys please do not indulge in flaming.
No flaming going on here, just one or two reposts to a rather poor choice of words from a fellow poster. I propose we draw a line under it. :bow:Quote:

Damn hadn't noticed this... You mean the chariots cut down grass? Hehe... Anyone tried sending them through a field of wheat?
i just buyed STW Warlord edition for 3,-
the game graphics are fine and most of the gameplay too, but the AI and much other things just sucks, and i'm blaming nobody for it, cause i don't know if it's the developer or producer fault.

sorry for the misunderstanding, but i was talking about RTW at the last part.
