A mod about the colonization period of africa

i might be able to help if i know what time period its in
1955 - 1913 or 1914 (whichever is the start of ww1 as we do not want to have to incorperate tanks and planes)

Don't know where dclare has gone at the moment, probably busy but we are going to do a zulu mod based just on south africa with all the different local tribes there. Maybee we could be cousin mods or something. Africa is kinda my strongpoint ~:cheers:
EDIT: You will need help with the info as well by looking at your site (native sharpshooters?? the closest thing would be abaQulusi riflemen ) ~;)

Way ahead of you but I can't do any modelling for you as I am helping too many other mods.
can you post a link to the zulu mod that you are doing?
Not announced it yet. The announcement will be sometime this week. I want to get the sheild right for the zulu model I have done. Also dclare has sent me textures for two other units so models coming soon.
great i recieved the redcoat cas file but he said that he accidentally wrote over the anim so that is scrapped

The zulu mod will be announced either later today or tomorrow
do a google image search for pictures of a recreation of the battle at islandawanda, they have pretty accurate zulu shields i would imagine
I think the African Colonization period is a little to late in history to be made effectively. The earlier stages of the period such as the Colonization of Mozambique and Zaire (Congo) would be easier than the later Colonization period such as Italy's invasion of Ethiopia which involved a lot of air support and advanced infantry tactics... which could not be done effectively with the Total War engine.

yup that is where i moved to after this od shut down, it is free for takeover by someone else, if you can get a team to work on it.
