Is it just me or are nearly all the coastal maps knacked, when there are ships etc in the background in the new patch with big square bits of beach as if the maps have not been finished ?

I think it was just a 'quick fix' by CA - on some coastal battlefields, armies were being deployed half underwater, and it was causing, as you'd imagine, problems. Presumably, they didn't have time to redraw all the problem areas, so just stuck those big squares in to stop the crashes. That's what I hear, anyway...
