the closing date (8th Feb) has been extended due to the need for players to get partners confirmation and also the demand has grown to play.
The starting day will be a Sunday but this doesnt mean you have to play all your group games on the Sunday...aslong as you can arrange to get your games finished by the following Wednesday (12 midnight GMT)..so those unable to play on a weekend can still get in aslong as you can get the series of games done.
hopefully most games will be finished on the Sunday just so that we all can prepare for the next round.....
The players will be placed into groups and the group winner (and runner up depending on how many play) will then go on to the knock out phase.....remeber it is important to post results at the tourney forum...or make it known that you have been unable to get your games sorted with the enemy (this way an extension may be given to finish the games)....if you do not make enough of an effort to play your games you will lose that battle by default.....and thats a sad way to go out of the tourney.
please mention to others about the tourney and to those who are playing whenever you see the news.....I cannot tell all so please help....
