A little racism, eh?

Hey guys, I wanted to post a thought of mine. No offense intended. I see in Rome that there is so much push for it to be more realistic, hence the RTR mod. But explain to me why it is that such factions as the Ptolemaics (with the skins from RTR) and others such as Carthage or Numidia have units that are all white? I'd think that some of the units would have a brown hue to them but it seems that the game is completely caucasian. If the guys from RTR want to make the game more realistic, why not make the machimoi or agema or whatever else have brown colored skin maybe? This is just an oberservation of mine. Anybody else agree?

The real question is:

Dose it really matter?

It's not racism -- it's reality. The Ptolemies used Greek mercenaries as their mainstay. Libyans, Phoenecians, and Numidians (Berbers) are all "white," although I think they're going to be more tanned when we do a reskin.

Well i didn't intend that it was racism. I used racism in the title of the thread to get one's attention. If I said "New Skinning Idea" that's not gonna get anyone's attention.

Of course...the beauty of RTW is that if you don't like the skin colouring, or feel that some faction or other is not represented correctly, you can always learn how to change it.
