Can't play game - Rome

After i install the game and i trying to open it and it said" Please insert the correct cd-rom, click ok and start application"

What is that means ?

I already update my nvidea driver, download latest 1.2v patch.

what else i should do to make it play ?

Perhaps you should insert the CD into the drive?

I'm not sure why this is in the Mead hall but these types of threads do not belong here. please post your technical questions about rtw either in the Apothecary or the correct RTW forum. Thank you. :bow:

edit: moved to Colosseum

Step 1: Take Rome: Total War disc I (one)
Step 2: Open the cd-rom drive
Step 3: Put cd to drive
Step 4: Double click the rtw icon and play and be happy

Try this:
1. uninstal Rome:TW
2. uninstall GameSpy Arcade
3. Clean your registry of any reference to either
4. Install Rome:TW
5. Patch to 1.2
6. Install GameSpy Arcade

Are you actually putting the CD in the drive? Because you make no reference to that....
