Patch 1.2 weirdness

I hope I am not the only person to experience this.

When I downloaded the 1.2 patch, I was simply ecstatic at the great new features that it brought. My capital would no longer be flooded with officers that would take years for me to send to my frontiers, for example.

I was dismayed to find that when I played my first battle in 1.2 I found that my Roman soldiers were on the lowest graphical setting. I quickly recomposed myself and thought that the patch must have set my unit detail to the lowest setting. I quit my game and opened the options menu to find that the setting was still on the highest setting.

What the heck is going on?

wierd indeed, my graphics were set to lowest so i just put them back up again. maybe try reinstalling the patch mate.

by contrast, my graphics settings were set to the highest, AND performance seemed to be better in patch 1.2, compared to 1.1 !!

See how things like these are:
- different for everyone
- hard to reproduce

I tried reinstalling it but it said I could not.

Man, this is such a headache.

You have to uninstall the entire game first then reinstall it and then the 2 patches.

Game performance is better with 102.
