New map problems

I am working on a small map of the eastern medditerrenean, on my spare time. I am having problems with the map. I have loaded it up and it appears all pink. I have 3 regions in the regions.tga. Cyprus, Lycia, and Rhodos. When I upload the map Rhodes and Halicarnassus are in the bottom right corner and Salamis is in Germany. All I wanted was the eastern medditerrenean and I still got the entire campaign map, which is smaller and pink.
The map regions is size

Trade routes and map feature are

Map roughness is
W 190
H 130
Map climates, gound type and height are
W 191
H 131

I deleted the radar maps
The only existing factions are Greek_cities, egypt, and Seleucids.

Can someone help me fix this problem?

So my two problems are:
How do I get the map to my desired area? The eastern medditterenean.
How do I remove the pink?

As I recall, the pink is caused when a part of the map is not part of a known region.

Have you followed any of the tutorials that are around?

And which of the text files have you edited? The full map showing might be caused by the dimensions in descr_terrain.txt, or the 'campaign ...' near the top of descr_strat.txt

i believe the problem is that on youre map_ground_types. you have colors on there which are incorrect. or rather colors the game does not recognize as an appriate ground type.

Could you post images of the tga files?
The position of the two cities in the corner is really strange. ~:confused:
I found sometimes an error message saying the position for a settlement was incorrect (0,0), but it was due to the lack of a black pixel for that settlement or to the presence of a lost pixel of a color different from those described in descr_regions.txt (the game considered that pixel as a new region).

Nevermind. I did it again and is completely fixed. It works perfectly now. Thanks for all the help.
