2) I guess they just chose the stats they found appropriate :smile:
3) Not sure, is this the bug fixer? I wouldn't mind downloading it..

3) He's referring to QwertyMIDX's horse archer fix - but it is included in player1's bugfixer as well as fixes for several other errors in the unit file.
5) I don't think there are any inherent differences between swords/spears/axes - all variables should be apparent in export_descr_unit file (eg, spear attribute, lethality reductions for axes, phalanx ability, mount effects etc.)

Thanks for the replies! My apologies for not able to reply sooner. I have downloaded the fix and it works great. Still I hope someone would tell me exactly how much bonuses the different formations give. Oh oh and another questions ~D
How does the game combat calculate attack and defence to determine the kill? If unit A with attack 1 hits unit B with defence 3, What is the chance of the kill? Someone please shed some light on this too ~:)

Believe me, we would all love to know the answer to that one. No one in the community knows the details of the combat calculations, but several people on the Ludus Magna forum have been trying to work them out. Have a look over there if you're interested.
