Hello,I'm still wondering after all these games of MTW I have played how the valour of the 'speartroops' and 'militiatroops' is calculated.I seem to produce Saracen Infantry and Muwahid Foot Soldiers of valour 2 even when I don't have a Master Spearmaker and there isn't any province that is famous for these units.Is this also something that has disappeared in the VI expansion or is there a special valour rule for speartroops?
Are they being created in a province with a 4+ star general?
I don't know,is that the reason?Is it a bug or was it meant to be that way?I can't imagine that was the way the creators wanted it to be,that's a ridiculous rule!
Take them out of the stack they're in and see what the valour is.
It is probably the general of the stack, but if not check the vices and virtues of their leader. "Pride" and "Secret Pride" add 3 valour, and several other V&Vs add valour too.
What version are you running? In v 1.0 is the spearmaker line and militia line bugged. It gives +1, +2, 0, 0 instead of 0,0,0,+1 in valour. That means that in version 1.0 does the spearmakers workshop(? the level 2 building) give you 2 valour troops while the spearmakers guild give you 0 valour troops. :dizzy2:
