I am playing the greeks, hold about 15 provs, with 12 family memebers.
some marry, but have no children
memnon of sparta is around 60, no kid (since he was in 30s), no adoptions
right now, the faction has no kids. so if something were to happen, then...

well...guess you'd better keep them in the cities, heh? *nervous laugh* Go kill some rebels, get some MOTH or adoptions. The AI should be more than willing to give them to you now, seeing you have so few factioners.

I get that sort of problem all the time, I thought these guys were supposed to be into orgies and such.... Usually it is only my faction leader that I notice having no kids, then he dies and i wait for one to mature with a favorite cousin or brother leading and then oops disenfranchised little kid gets to take the reins.

Maybe there is a history of infertility in your family? They might all be gay, you never know, especially with the Ancient Greek reputation.

Bribe rebels family members, bribe other faction family members, win historic battles with no family members, pray to the gods for sons, hope your daughters marry young, . . . .

I heard that the birthrate is tied to the number of cities without governors you have. It sounds like you have more provinces but...
I don't know. Did you count correctly? And as a side-note, I don't think you are gauranteed family members... :book:
