Re: descr_regions question
i beleive it is just the faction anmes but i haven't tried anything different but just in case i would use the faction names
Re: descr_regions question
it is a faction name. It is not a 'culture' name.
Re: descr_regions question
So is it the faction name as listed in the descr_strat.txt file?
Basically, if I plan to rename factions, I would change strat.txt, shared.txt, and expanded.txt, while leaving the faction names in descr.txt unchanged.
So that means that if I change the romans_julii references in strat/shared/extended to Kings of Leon, descr_strat.txt would remain the same and descr_region.txt would use romans_julii as the reference for Kings of Leon?

Re: descr_regions question
As a general rule, you must change the faction name only in the files contained in Data\text (this is the translation for the interface). All the other files must keep the original faction name.
Re: descr_regions question
how do i change province names..and the flag on the campaign map the one general hold's and the cities which a banner hangs over,
Re: descr_regions question
region names are in data/text/imperial_campaign_regions_and_settlement_names.txt
Don't change the bracketed names, only the ones on the right (these are what the game displays, the others are what it uses to build the map).
