Can anyone tell me how many men are there in a unit of hastati _and_ a unit of equites at each and every one of the unit sizes (small, medium, large, huge)? Not counting officers, standard bearers etc, just standard men.

Ummm, HUGE = 160 + 108 = 268
LARGE = 80 + 54 = 134
NORMAL = 40 + 27 = 67
I think thats right.
And small...?
20 + 14 + 34.
maybe.
I think small is 40
normal is 80
big is 120
and huge is 160
that is all :)
I'm not sure of the point of this thread. Are you trying to ask whether Small size rounds up or down? Surely you know the base sizes of the units and the scaling factors.
