How do you sell things on E-Bay?

I have huge problem guys. I bought this DVD that i now hate and I want to sell it on e-bay. The problem is I don't have a credit card. :embarassed:

1. Do you need a credit card?
2. How exactly is it done?

You need a seller's account. I'm not sure if you need a credit card. If you find the option that says: Register a seller's account.

It should be pretty simple from there.

I have just had a quick look on the UK site, as so far I have only ever bought items, never sold any, but it looks like you can make your payments to ebay by direct debit.

Are you guys sure that a debit card is sufficient?

Have an ite, to sell,

Make a seller account.

Make a listing for the item.

Wait for people to bid on it.

Ship it to the highest bidder.

How do I get the money?

Check, money order, paypal, credit card...

or you could steal it :questiong:

They send the money, then you send the product... (just in case you still need to know)

Yes I still do. How do they know I'm gonna send the product. Shouldn't they pay afterwards? I don't know, I'm just trying to figure out how it really is so there's no surprises. Have you ever done is before Craterus?

"How do they know you'll send product?" Turn it the other way around. How do you know they'll send the money? If you are trying to sell it, then once you receive the money, you won't mind getting rid of it? That's how I think of it.

I haven't sold any of my own stuff, but I have a load of friends who are eBay entrepreneurs, so I know a bit about it.

Simple:

Ebay should have some fairly simple instructions on how to sell...have you checked there?
