Shogun style mod?

Just a quick question.
Are there any Shogun style mods currently in the pipeline for R:TW? By this, I don't mean Sengoku period modifications - although they are welcome.
I mean simple modifications based around a small number (say 12) of strategic units like in Shogun, with none of them ever truly becomming obsolete.
The mod could be Greek period, Ancient period, Warring States period.

I think a straightforward copy of Shogun Total War would be a good mod idea if someone is short of a project.
