Creating a new climate

I have managed to create a new climate, but I'm having some problems with the ground textures in battlefield mode. It doesn't use the textures I want it to use. I'm sure I have the right textures in the descr_geography.txt file, but it uses some other ingame.
Anyone know what I could have done wrong?

Unfortunately descr_geography.txt isn't used. descr_geography.db is. It's based off the info from the text file, but unlike most other files like that, it doesn't regenerate itself if you delete it.

How did you create a new climate?

Any update on Jerome getting the db-related files for us? It would include the present matter, no?
