Haggis to blame for Nato issues
Mr Chirac is also reported to have reminisced about an occasion when Lord George Robertson, the former Secretary General of Nato, had made him try a Scottish dish.
"That is where our difficulties with Nato come from," he said.
Hehe, sometimes they get it right.
Too silly to be in the Backroom...

Re: Haggis to blame for Nato issues
We have bad cuisine? Who is it who eats snails and frogs' legs?
Re: Haggis to blame for Nato issues
Oh Come on now. French Cuisine better than Scottish? The French need to learn how to grow hair on their nuckles and eat like real men. ~;) ~D
Re: Haggis to blame for Nato issues
Nothing beats Antillian cuisine anyways. Well, maybe Indisch cuisine, but I doubt it ~;)
Re: Haggis to blame for Nato issues
American food is the best as we get a bit of it all ~:)
Re: Haggis to blame for Nato issues
Haggis really is delicious, though. Chirac is a wuss.

Re: Haggis to blame for Nato issues
Chirac is an ass, thank god he wont be in power after the next french election. He has done a lot of damage to the french relations with the rest of the world.

Ya, sorry to be a snoot, but BKS is off today and he'll whoop me good if I let politics seep into the playground.
This is the beer & pizza room. Violence and mayhem are next door.

Re: Haggis to blame for Nato issues
Never ate haggis but it sounds like it belongs be on the chemical weapons list. Say what you want about the french, these guys know what tastes good. The english on the other hand.........sucking that hard at something is somewhat of an achievement on it's own. How do you get the chips so flexible? What on earth is in the frying pan?
Re: Haggis to blame for Nato issues

How dare you. Someone has never experienced the mana of the gods we call boerenkool, this tasted GOOD. Or our national treassure erwtensoep, a truely refined dish.

Ugh... erwtensoup... I think I'm gonna-- *retches*
Where's the damn indonesian food when you need it, to fend off these foul Dutch dishes.
(although it must be said that stamppot is pretty good... and your average potatoes-vegetables-meat-n-gravy... but that's about it ~D)
