it will be released fall this year, just before christmas probably.
And there are screenshots of BI, check their official site.
Don't recall any of them featuring a campaign map though
:balloon2:
There are a couple of screenshots of the campaign map along with others from the E3 demo here. Enjoy!
BI is released August/September by the way, not sure since they change that date every time we hear some news about it :dizzy2:
Thanks! That's just what I needed.
Check out that one screenshot. They're in debt over 8k lol. Must be a new player.
Oh no it appears Wes Romanae got fired ~

8k in debt is nothing. Also it's an E3 screenshot, so if 20 people were mousing around the game each turn theres going to be problems. Also playing some factions on very hard campaign dif can make a very bad starting economy especially if it's a mod.
Laugh Out Loud !!! ~:joker: ~:joker: ....it`s exactly the same as the RTW.....just some insignificant changes...it`s even worst looking ~:) ...anyway that is my first impresion about the game...i will have to play it to discover it...maybe i will like it....but anyway....the looking is the same
Is it just me, or does the map in that preview appear to have fewer provinces than in RTW?
wait for mods ~:)
P.S. OMG!...they even do not changed the regions colours
Yeah, the map didn't seem to have as much detail. If it fixes the AI AND those changes are retroactive, meaning they work in original RTW, it will all be worth it.
Well i can tell ill be adding some new provinces to the map the first day i get this..
seriously, RTW had few enough provinces but thats even less. :furious3:
Umm...Quote:

Was there a fundamental change in Mongol Invasion? No was there in Viking Invasion? No.
So why are you expecting something totally diffarent?
It appears to be bigger then the original map, though...Quote:

Obviously I will play as the new factions to, especially as the franks, vive la france, once I kill off all those pesky romanized gauls, romans, and vistogoths.
We're talking about the number of provinces. It seems like there are more big provinces instead of lots of small ones. Expansion packs are usually made to add something to the game not reduce the current length of it. Like I said before though, I just want the AI fixed.Quote:

CA has instead chosen to make provinces based on these bounderies.

100 years out of date but not bad none the less
WTH ever happened to "Gameplay > realism"???
There are not nearly enough provinces in RTW as it is.
Well ok, I think it's fine to have less provinces but each province should have more cities to take over in order to control the whole province. This would be more realistic and still have the length of the original.Quote:

Hey, has anyone seen the screenshots on the SEGA-site?

As you can see on pic nr. 9, there seems to be a city with a river next to it! I've never seen that before...would be a nice addition, I think. Also, who are the strange dudes on pic 11? ~
I had only seen a few of them before.
Thanks alot ~
Those dudes on pic 11 are the battlepriests I think. They might look scary but if I don`t remember wrong they had the same stats as peasants.
Nice catch Brutus
That is definately a new style of battle and perhaps you are allowed to try to ward off a siege on the first turn and if you succeed your city is free and if you fail you are then besieged.
Could a add some tactics to the game as in wich direction you besiege the city from as a direct route could lead to suicide

I think the advisor's name is Victoria. And yes, it appears that she has been fired. I wonder who replaced Centurion Marcus?Quote:

While those screenshots look very nice, I'm sure that with the possible exception of #9 those are all from cutscenes rather than game play. I never understood the emphasis on good graphics in cutscenes rather than in the actual game itself, but I suppose it helps for the publicity shots.
