hooked claw and blood stained tooth

Black slits cut through icy blue opals, these were his eyes. his eyes gazed out from dark brows.
He shifted through the undergrowth making not a twig crack sliding his weigh sinuously over the jungle growth.
though he sweated buckets he gave off no sent to give away his position. he took a gulp of air soundlessly and hopped up over a log in a quick leap. he landed in a flurry of leaves and twigs but was instantly off once more.
his legs pumped like pistons and his head bobbed with each step. hunks of dirt and mossy turf flew off it clumps after his feet.
his prey looked up with widened eyes but the hunter was already halfway there. the edmontosaurus screamed a wail that set the heatrd running but it did not run. it stayed where it was and dropped its head in defeat.
the hunter screamed with triumphant fury. its body grew close to the ground as its gait slowed for only a second and then the powerful legs pushed with all might against the ground. with a massive leap it smashed into the side of the duck-bill and the two rolled to the ground. the massive edmontosaurus flailed trying to crush its foe so its death was not in vain.
but in that it failed for the Deinonychus landed on top and sunk its violent claw in top the suckulent throat of the peaceful herbivore.
torrents of red blood spewed over re'anok (RAY-A-NOK) as he sat heavily panting over his kill.
two more Deinonychus stalked out of the forest and came to stand beside re'anok. his almost jet black skin was dripping with violent red.
one of the deinonychus name kia'sidon nuzzled her head against his. "that was very dangerous" she clicked but re'anok could feel the affection in her voice.
"foolishly so" growled the elder ha'vasar, he dipped his head and tore at the ribs of the of the great corpse. when the bone showed white he raised his foot and rested it on the ribcage.
he placed his large killing toe in between two ribs and seperated them. in a violent flash he pounced onto the body, applying his weight one rib snapped and a new spurt of blood drenched the ground. ha'vasar stepped off the hkill and dipped his head to the kill. with and savage yank and a brutal crack one rib came loose.
ha'vasar took the rib and laid it at re'anoks feet, he then said.
"take the heart, it is your kill." re'anok quickly obliged taking the bit of flesh into his jaws he gulped it down.
with that done he said "come, lets tell the pack of our success"
and with that the three raptors darted off into the forest screaming roars of triumph.
