The Art of Battle

This is an online game i play thought i would do a review on it in here. Its a fairly new game, with about 150 players. The idea of the game is very similar to that of the total war series without the fancy graphics and battle screens. Its based in the medieval times and has become very addictive.

The graphics are minimal, althought the site is easy on the eyes. The game itself is played through your web browser so doesnt need anything special hardware wise.

The game has a small friendly community who are always there to help new people play the game as it can be daunting at first. Although when the time comes they are more than happy to attack you.

The basic outlay of the game is quite simple, you are assigned your own kingdom and have to work with the country you are in to crush the other countires around you. You have to develop your country in its goldmining, agriculture and wood lumbering technologies. Then build the appropriate buildings to unlock battle units.

all in all the game is a good way to kill some time with the added bonus of prizes.

how do you view the map mine wont appear?

there is no actual map in the game yet. You can see the coordinates though, thats what is used to navigate

The game is cool, and in 3 weeks (how long is a week anyway?) im under my 2nd attack. Hope I can defend myself

I have now build everything, is there anything to do besides building up a force and attacking others ?

yes doc, I noticed. So is snowhobbit whom I believe is also from the org.

nothing to do after all research and building is built, except you can build goldmines, farms, guard towers etc.

then just crank up a lot of workers and start building an army.
