Incorrect, considering technically speaking there is no democracy on Earth today. A democracy consitutes citizens voting directly on an issue with no elected offices, etc. to make the decisions for them. The system used by Governments today is the Republic, of which the first was ancient Rome (although Plato did write of a Republic in his famous work, The Republic).Quote:
