Hi guys ive just started making my own maps recently, i have one that is completed. it has a lake in it which looks pretty but it has one small problem- all units can walk through it- its quite funny, they submerge then appear out the other side. How can i stop this from happening and also..how do i post my maps on the Org?
any help would be much appreciated- Cheers

You do have to be careful introducing water to your map. I have found the same scenario, plus areas where your troops won't go.I had one where my men were fighting an invisible foe before deployment. Small lakes in remote areas of the map seem to work ok. I think rivers can only run side to side. I'm sure there was a technical tip by Erado San (?) regarding custom maps. There was an extensive post in the Editng/Mods Forum about using the map editor and placing water was one of the major subects ...
Some of the guys did a lot of work on this subject.
Krast ust went to look for the post, but cannot find it!
Was this one of the pieces deleted during the Horrible Destruction of the Dojo?!?!

Well, here are the basics:
1, if you want an uncrossable water you have to make a river that crosses the entire map.
2, if you have a river like that then the other water surfaces will be uncrossable too (if i remember correctly)
3, it follows from the previous points that isolated lakes can be always crossed (if there is no proper river or ocean in the map).
4, there can be only 3 bridges in any given map.
5, a bridge will run through the entire map, thus will cross any water surface in it's way.
6, bridge can be made only through an uncrossable water, i.e. you cannot make bridges across isolated lakes.
