Basically, i can't use the middle mouse button click to open in a new tab feature on the bolded 'new post' threads, but it's fine on everything else and on all other forums....
Any ideas?

I'm not a firefox user, but we have several here, and TosaInu takes care to insure browser compatability. So we'll toss this one to the Watchtower forum.
Hello sapi,
I've seen other reports with FireFox problems on this forum, I can't fully exclude the possibility of a hack (that's how modifications of forum software are called) causing trouble. I haven't installed FireFox myself yet, a shame I know.
Jelsoft is currently working on a new vbulletin. There are a few neat options and it should support the latest browsers. The real neat changes are more the engine and we shouldn't directly notice a lot there. I should in the end, but not before updating every bit which will be a lot of work.
You could go to http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/ and check the release candidate 1 of this new version.
i can report that i do not have this problem. i'm using FF 1.0 with the tabbrowser preferences extension (v1.1.1).
I'm using the latest version of firefox (1.6 i think), so maybe it's a problem with the new release - thanks for the help anyway...
I'm using FF 1.06 and Tabbrowser Prefs. 1.2.7.1
Everything works fine.
You may want to check if your middle button still has
a function assigned after changing to a new version.

I seem to have narrowed teh problem to not loading a new tab on any bolded selection, on any website. Of course it is most noticible on the org and other forums.
This may be a problem with my other extensions, but i don't know.
I also recently got a new mouse (a cheap mx500), but have had no problems until the latest firefox update.
Hrm, I have firefox and the middle mouse button works for me. That is a strange problem. I'm sorry I can't help you more, good luck in fixing it.
