Hearts of Iron 2 patches

Dear Mr Cube,

I took your advice and ordered HOI2: I will hold you responsible if it's no good.

More to the point: is it worthwhile getting the patches and then fiddling about trying to fix the new bugs that they introduce?

I suppose it is. Although when 1.3 released definitely. That will improve the AI by a very great amount.

Edit: And good move ordering it.

thanks, I think I'll wait for 1.3 before downloading any patches as it sounds like the first 2 patches buggered up plenty of things as well as fixing previous bugs.

I've only played the tutorials and started one game.
Its scope is immense, I'm still overwhelmed by the numbers of everything.
