Strat model problem

Ok, I'm having this odd problem where if I made my own entry for strategic map model in desc_model_strat.txt (after changing the reference string in desc_character.txt of course), the campaign failed to load, giving an error

Unable to find texture ".

At first I assumed it was my model that's having problems so I erased the entry and replaced the model into an existing model slot. It worked fine. So my question is: is there a hard-coded limit on the number of entries in desc_model_strat.txt?
