Ok after all these bitch-Rome-find-bugs-before-release posts, all the MTW/STW gang coming back to try again, its time for an optimistic post!

DID You see those new Romano-British berserkers at work?? I saw a single berserker slaying 3 enemy soldiers in 1 continues animation performing 3 moves and advancing.

The opponents got 1 hit after that, but he has 2 hit points!
He scored 1 more hit and pushed 2 more down, but getting his second hit (he was the last man in the unit) eliminated the unit. Wonderful.

Those hounds of Cullain were mercs. You can tell by their green cloths.

are the hounds of cullumn historical accurate?

Most likely someone is going to bring up some "information" about how they used a club that was in fact, 4 feet long instead of the 3.5 ft long club they use in the game, and that they're going to boycott CA because of that.

The realism issues in RTW are not as minor as you think they are.I know EB will fix alot of them but it's still annoying have to wait for over a year. The funny thing is that in many ways, the game would be better balanced if it were more realistic. Does cavalry that can charge through phalanx's improve gameplay?

I can only wonder if, 5 years from now, Bartix will have spread through the internet and become one of those weird internet phenomina like "pwned." It would be quite interesting if Abosakee (sp?) became famous.

As for the "cool stuff," bodies floating downstream sounds pretty cool, although I have yet to witness it. And I really like the fact that they brought the old M:TW style indicators of why their morale is the way it is, i.e. "Encouraged by the presence of the general" or "suprised at the emerging enemy." Although it's rather strange that you can see the enemies' indicators too, as a whole, it's rather strange that you can see enemy morale at all.

so, mongoose, you have played the release version of BI? eh?

well i dont like the torches, they ruin my sheild wall!

even the AI is better....the enemy is more smarter then in RTW....i hardly lure them now...and i hate night battles....if it will be possible..i will play all my battles during the day....historic night battles were used only in ambushing...or camp attacks....not in the open battles

well i love night battles, unless using large formations of sheild walls!

Horse Archers carry their sheilds on their backs when using bow and equip them to their left hand when entering melee . If their is enough option in how the effect is triggered then it would allow , for example , correctly modeled Sacred Band Cavalry {whom carried their sheilds on their backs when weilding the Kontos , and on their left arm when using sword} .

another great reason for RTR,EB,CTW etc to switch over to BI.
