Making it More Interesting
I recently downloaded a new driver for my graphics card but it turned out to be the wrong one and is now affecting all of my games. In RTW i can only do the campain map section of the game, battles are un-playable as the screen is constantly fllickering etc due to graphics card problem.
My question is how do i make the game as interesting as it was without being able to fight battles, any suggestions welcome.
P.S i am attempting to fix my graphics card.
Re: Making it More Interesting
well. you can auto-resolve everything. but i think it's not going ot be fun...
Re: Making it More Interesting
Yea i know that i can auto-resolve everything but i do know that it won't be as fun, that's why im trying to find ways to make it fun. At the moment its like ~:handball: i.e. boring.
Re: Making it More Interesting
Start turtling.Start with Seleucids and dont take any enemy cities,if you dont have a un assigned family member.Autocalc all the battles and try to win the game.It should be pretty challencing.
Re: Making it More Interesting
Lol how can i win the game if i can't take enemy cities?
Re: Making it More Interesting
You can but only if you have more governors then cities. You know what i mean?
Re: Making it More Interesting
I don't think the game will let you have more family members than cities, once you get beyond the start.
Re: Making it More Interesting
IF THERE WAS NO REASON TO UPGRADE VIDEO DRIVERS, ROLL BACK
1. Obtain a copy of your old, trusted, working drivers off the net (official website only has the newest, but local websites (i use IGN 'cause i'm in australia) should have it)
2. Uninstall the faulty drivers and restart
3. Don't freak out at the 'new hardware found' windows that pop up; ignore them
4. Install the drivers that worked
5. Voila! it's working again - if you jumped a series of drivers try one in between if you're feeling lucky
6. Try at your own risk
Re: Making it More Interesting
Role Play it. After I started paying attention to traits and using the faction members as real people I found it was another depth of enjoyment on the campaign map.
Re: Making it More Interesting
I'll try the Roll Back and Role Play thing, no harm in trying is there. There should be someone coming to fix it, they just haven't had time yet, famile emergencies etc so could be a while.
