Ideal difficulty settings for 6.0

Ave! Anyone have any recommendations for difficulty settings for RTR 6.0?

firstly, this should be inthe modding forums.

the reccomended settings are emperor (vh) campaign difficulty and preator (m) battle difficulty iirc

I have never installed RTR before. I saw that 6.0 was available and thought I'd try it...
Besides the Campaign and Battle settings, what are most people setting their city governing at? Is it meant to be left at semi-auto for the mod, with a physical governor presence necessary to build structures and units, or do most people change this to manual? In the plain vanilla game I have always played it on manual, but I can see how this would affect game play if you have to move a family member over to order something.
