I need help, I've tried tilde (~) key but it does not work to access the console. I know where the key ~ is and how it works on my PC but unable to access the console at all. Tried other keys as well (F2,\,/,T,^)
I have a fresh install of RTW 1.2
PLEASE ANYONE HELP!!!

What exactly are you trying to do?
And by console you mean PC or PS2?
He means Romeshell, so he can cheat. Aquinofrankie, all the websites lie about what to press. You don't press ~. If you are using a qwerty keyboard, then press the ¬ key, which should be up in the top left corner, under the escape key.
Thanks for the reply. No, I'm not using a qwerty keyboard. I do have the "~" key but it doesn't open the romeshell during game. Is there another way to open the console or is it a problem with my firewall or something strange?. I have a brand new PC...
` opens my Romeshell...on my parent's computer, at least.

In mine the key is ' and that is a problem to me.
Sometime you have to use " in the console commands. But my ' key (that brings up the console) is the same as " key (shifted). So I can't use the romeshell properly.

I have a question, are you using Windows Vista?
If so, I believe that may be the link to our problem.
Because I'm using an old keyboard I used with my old Windows XP and the tilde key worked fine, but now that I have Vista it seems to not function, so I believe our problems are one in the same.
I have vista ¬`: works fine for me.
