just aren't taking me there ~:) I'm thinking more of the campaign map which seems a bit cartoony and not really giving off that ancient world vibe. Apologies if this has been done to death but I'm just getting into the game. I have yet to try any of the mods so perhaps this thread is redundant. Also the music is beautiful but there's not much of it. Need more of those angelic voices when I'm planning death and destruction!

Your right about the music mate as I love the RTW music but it does get a bit boring hearing it over and over again so quickly.
However I have to disagree with you about the campaign map. I really like how its been done and I hope they continue this throughout all of the new total war games.

like the camp. map , especially that of RTR 6.0, don't really mind the music much really.
But if you do , there was a thread a while back about a music mod...

The campaign map is really good.
I wonder if you could make a new campaign map, and also if could add new music to the game.
thx for the info re the mod! I'll have a look at that later I think. I guess I still miss the very atmospheric MTW map. Dunno why, but it seems more engrossing. Anyway, I'll plug away and see how it goes.
