I'm fairly new to the whole mod scene and was wondering if anyone can help me with modding character traits and ancillaries. Basically i wanna create some super characters. I've tried by changing the traits and ancillaries in the 'descr_strat' file but when i start the game it crashes.
Also how do you pass parent traits onto the children when they come of age, its pretty annoying having a awesome general only to have his kid grow up to be a shitfight.
Any help will be much appreciated...

try finns cheat unlocker. u can add as many traits and ancillarys as u want, as well as tons of other cheats and u can use them as much as u want, getting rid of the once pre game thingy. i can never find the right thread here so i go to google and search for
Finn's cheat unlocker
and it takes u there on the first link. hope this was some help
