im curiouse how was the speed of cavlary slowed down in mods such as rtr? also i see that cavlary do less damage in some of the rtw mods but when i look at the states the charge bonus and attack are more then the cavlary in vanilla. Is there somthing else that is done to lower the impact of cavlary?
Speed was slowed down by changing the animations used. Units also have a mass rating and I think they reduced that too to make them less powerful even though charge value is higher. But AFAIK charge value is a bit buggy so even very high charge values doesnt mean much in the game.
