Can anyone make any sense out of this ?
Ya these nutjobs are out there. This all started with phelps and his bunch and seemed to spread to other misgiuded people :dizzy2:
This isn't really anti-war as much as it is just crazy. Anybody who thinks such things obviously isn't sane in any respect. And for what they did, I don't they deserve any kind, shape, or form of respect.
Hang on-the gay harbouring country that these lads are complaining about these soldiers defending is the US itself, right? Last time I checked Iraq wasn't a hotbed of homosexual feeling. So, they're essentially protesting the fact that these soldiers died defending (and I'm not sure that's what I'd call what's going on in Iraq)the country that the protesters themselves live in?
That makes no sense at all.
i prefer when the protestors emmolate themselves, saves us all the hassle... ~;)
"Westboro Baptists"
That pretty much says it all doesn't it? You don't get any more kook fringe than that group.
I thought about posting it. Phelps is no different from a hate monger variety of cleric. Can't say this really surprises me. Robertson would have joined him, but he had a schedule conflict, some sort retirement planning seminar and prayer luncheon for the Supreme Court.Quote:

The church, which is not affiliated with a larger denomination, is made up mostly of Phelps' children, grandchildren and in-laws.

Not really anti war protest... more of an anti gay, anti people who don't want to murder all gays sort of protest. At least that's what it seems like.
