Ann is peeved off at Canada because a CBC journalist made her look like the total buffoon that she is on national television a few months ago
Ann kept insisting that Canada sent troops to Vietnam. the CBC journalist pointed out that Canada did not. yet she kept insisting that Canada did. it was a completely hilarious interview to watch, btw. ~D

Anyway, a news broadcast is hardly a place for humour. Bringing humour into the news is another part of the vast rightwing conspiracy that threatens to destroy journalism as we know it (and yes, that is partly satire on my part... I just find the notion of a leftwing conspiracy to be ridiculous, seeing as the news is incredibly rightwing these days.)
If I want humour, I will watch Dave Attell, or read Carl Hiaasen or Hunter S. Thompson. If I want news I read the newspaper. TV news has turned to slop because of people like Ann Coultier.
