Campaign game with multiplayer?

This is a long shot, and has probably been suggested and shot down time and time again, but is there any way that you can make it possible to play campaigns in multiplayer? One off battles suck, so do the 'historical' ones, Ionly like battles that have consquences.

I think there is an effort to make this work, but it isn't realistic to expect that EB can include something like this at this time, or in the foreseeable future.

What you describe is what Total War fans have been waiting and asking for since Shogun: Total War.

Excellent, thanks for the link. Well it's good to know I'm not the only one, I just dont understand why CA haven't done something about this already.

I don't know why CA does a lot of things.

It's Total War series main lacking... from the beginning. They tell that campaigns would be very long and complex specially with several players online, which would make the turns very long.

My answer is... I wouldn't mind.
