Modification help for dummies.

Well, I don't know if you think otherwise but I'm kinda dumb. Anyway, I just downloaded Orc10 file by Avarin. The instruction is pretty clear but I guess I messed up. Although their skin (bodies) and clothing are replaced, my Orcish Gothic Sergeants and Halbardiers have no weapons, and the shields are default (I used German so it's yellow bird on black). I pretty much gave up on it and I reinstalled my MTW.

With that said, can somebody come up with a brief info on what folders in Men folder are for what? If I knew what folders (or files) represent what then it'd be easy for me to modify stuff. Avarin's "read-me" only mentions about the BIF files being the graphics animation. Can somebody also clarify that for me? Lets say my new plan is to replace Nubian Spearmen into Orcs (JUST THE BODIES). What files need to be replaced?
