Protectorate tributes ?still bugged

OK I was travelling nicely as Armenia, Seluecs agreed to be my protectorate early on and paid different amounts every turn, till about 245bc( probably about 20 turns ok), then the tribute gets stuck at 13651 denarii and everyturn after that stays the same , though I don't actually receive any money any more.

I tried giving them cities to change the numbers, making other diplomatic deals (like selling map info) did change the number but it still went back to 13651 next turn.

I went to 50 provinces(without Rome) and that made no differnce

Anyone else seen this.?

I am playing rtr 6.0 but can't imagine that that would change this aspect of the game.

Note that you get all the money your protectorate earns.

That the numbers don´t change after you gave them more provinces, however, is strange, indeed.

it also weird that they dont conquer or build any troops after you made them protectorate...they just sit and do nothing...that you gt all the money they earn is stupid

Well I think thats the idea, they are protected by you and you build the army for them, hence the payment. So they can never be strong enough to rise against you again, a la Germany 1918 ~;)
