Oktoberfest

There is no thread about this. Has anybody visited the Oktoberfest this year? Give impressions, photos, stories please.

I wanted to go until I learned how expensive the beer was... :help:

The german comunity in Alamogordo , New Mexico, (about 600 families) is celebrating Oktoberfest tomorow. And I'm definately going.

I´ve never been to Oktoberfest in my life, even though I´ve lived only some 100km from Munic most time of it.

I won't be able to go this year, I'm in Canada. Maybe if I'm lucky I can get my family to send some beer and sausages from Bayern though. ~:)

anyway, why are they celebrating when it's not even oktober yet?

Oktoberfest is traditionally in September. Reason: goa hoam nach Preiß´n wenns da net baßt! ~;)
