Thats just not cricket/conqureing the world
hi guys.
well about halfway through the campaign as the julli i got a message form the senate that shocked me and led to there downfall, bloody bastards. :furious3:
I had this awsome faction leader. he had ful cammand, influence and managment as well as all the best traits a guy can get. Thanks to his traits i was making pretty much all my mney from trade income and from very little else. id just suffered a massive attack from the carthiginians that had crippled my forces so my plans for destroying the senate were put off. But then i get this message from the senate. it basically said:
you must kill of your faction leader or you will be declared an outlaw and an enemy of rome.
:furious3: :furious3: :furious3: :furious3:
i was just wondering if tis had happend to any one else.
just to let u no i did manage to over come it and have now made the whole campaign map red, but id still like to know. ~

Actually, the message is like a scare-crow. I laugh when I get this message.
You shouldn't have abandoned your plans. Rebuild your army fast, so you can counter the Brutii, because they will attack you faster than Scipii.
I destroyed the Brutii and the Senate. I had enough armies to destroy them both.

Sounds like your leader has been deemed "too awesome" by the Sentate ~;)
Normally when you get something like this happen it means your long overdue for a civil war anyways.
Whenever you see senate popularity sinking like a stone and masses popularity getting too high you know a civil war is on the cards... Its easy enough to leave a few armies near Rome to hang around in time for some civil war fun.
