Tower and gatehouse: how to stop firing?

I have a question: is it possible to make the towers and gatehouses to stop firing arrows? I couldn't find the file to do this, except their rate of fire (which after experiments I could made into machinegun-rate firing, which is hilarious as hell), which I could modify into a long rate of fire. I'd like to get rid of the firing completely.

set reload_ticks_arrow to -1
this only works for towers tho, I haven't found a way to disable gate auto fire.
