this is what the extract_skeletons.bat says about the skeletons.idx in my BI animations folder.
the extract animations worked fine, just the skeleton

Yes... thats exactly what does happen.
Vercingetorix is aware of hte problem with his XIDX and the new version of the skeleton DAT and IDX files. He will fix it when he gets the time.
In the meantime, it does mean no new skeletons for BI ... but I am sure that is only temporary. When you consider how long the actual data has been available, it is way to soon to expect everything to be that easy ;)
thats what i suspected, just checking
maybe when i finish my new animations the tools will be there for me to import them into the game ~D
