SPQR 4.6 Patch Released!

Hello,

Just to let everyone know that 4.6 Patch has been released for SPQR mod. This patch fixes some issues with the walls and I really recommend its download. It should be saved game compliant. Also you will not see new resource Icon for Legions in your saved games, only when you play a new campaign.

Patch 4.6

This Patch fixes the Follwoing small Bugs and adds these features in SPQR.

1. Uses the proper Models for Gauls and Briton militia units in City View
2. Allows Seleucid to build Phalanx Pikemen, and Siege weapons
3. Uses the correct unit cards and discriptions for Players buildable Praetorians
4. Added Buttons to SPQR for campaign that matches the Custom buttons. (thanks Advent Akuma)
5. Tighter formations for most of the cavalry units.
6 New unit cards for Egypt and a couple other units from AlCORD
7. Fixed General Cavalry missing syntax to upgrade after marius.(Saved games will not notice this unless new family members)
8. Increased Morale of Sword Hoplites.
9. Spartans have increased attack.
10. Increased NUmbers for Senate Praetorians (Helps with Gauls)
11. Made Bodyguard for Senate to be Pratorian Cavalry (Saved games will not notice this unless new family members)
12. Added unit card for Slave Velites, heavy peltast and Militia cavalry.
13. Redid Roman Crew to a better model and skin.
14. Added new Traits for more AI command stars (thanks gravedigger)
15. Fixed a bug that sometimes caused Stone gates not to open right.
16. Added matching banners for Empty cities.
17. Added New Group formations for Roman Player
18. Lower resource worth.
19. Reduced worth for some trade goods
20. Docks on have 1 trade fleet for Romans
21. Trading posts etc have less routes for Romans
22. Added new unit cards for Macedon Levy and Pikes.
23. Added New Spartan from Ninja8181 of the Zhanguo : Total War mod
24. Added new unit cards for Numidia, Spain, Seleucid, and Scythia (Thanks Alcord)
23. Fixed texture for Slave hoplite Militia
24. Added Land/sea bridges for Greece area and sicily.
25. Historical Battles now work with SPQR, but there are lockups with Exiting the battles still need to be resolved. Consider yourself warned.
26. Upkeep raised slightly for Post marius units.
27. Added overhand fighting for Greeks using JAVELIN animation, also adjusted power to be stronger.
28. Increased Horse Archer numbers
29. Added Legion Names to 1st cohorts. Each of the 28 Regions have one 1st cohort that has a specific unique legion name. It up to the player to play historically with 1 legion name per legion or not.
30. Added Archers Burning Mod, you can now SACK Cities and totally Destory them with Fire. Some Egyptian and Eastern city buildings wont burn, but they can be destoryed.
31. Modified Javelin units and pilum units, less strength on their missiles.
32. made Barbarians have a slight morale boost.
33. Fixed bug that limited Archers to 130, they now will have the 150 to 180 in range.
34. Added New Splash Screen using "Pent uP Rage"s Picture taken in SPQR.
35. Added New Triumph Trait for Romans, depends on how many enemies killed in battle, and how many provinces you take. Minor Triumph, Triumph, Large Triumph, Great Triumph, Spectacular Triumph.
36. Gaul is a little Stronger to start off in the campaign. Only applies to a new campaign game.
37. Added New Sword Auxillia Units for Romans (Thanks Godzilla)
38. Added New Auxillia cavalry for Post Marius units.
39. Added Sinuhet's Version 3 Formations customized for SPQR mod.
40. Removed German Phalanx from spearmen from Popular request.
41. Added New walls mod, adds new Egyptian walls, also adds Epic walls to the other factions. Keep in mind that the Egyptian gates do not fire arrows or use boiling oil. This is a known issue with the mod. (Thanks Archer)
42. Adjusted Rebels so Conquered provinces are Harder to hold and may rebel more, also changed Rebels so when a City revolts, they are not just Peasants, but actual units that can cause problems for the player.
43. Fixed Spartan animation
44. Added New Icons on strategy map to show where Legions and imitation Legion can be recruited. Small Shields
45. Added Oil and Arrow fix to Egyptian walls and fix bug that caused walls to be solide even when destroyed.
46. Fixed Rebels on Rebellion factor to be different for different areas.
47. Fixed wooden Wall bug, where with rams 88% the walls would break but not be destroyed.
48. Gave Phalanx unit Secondary sword.
49. Changed Spartan Animation to spearmen due to animation error.


The following is the New Zone of Recruitment for just the Early/Late Legionary Cohorts, Princepes and Triarii.
These 28 regions are the ONLY ones that can recruit these units provided they have the required building.
This will add new logistics to using better roman troops and will not negatively effect the AI performance.
Also there a 28 1st cohorts that carry a Legion Name, 1 for each city/province. All of these are listed below.
