It's a beut.
The only non-cooking, non-utility blade I keep is my father's officers' sword. Haven't decided where to put it just yet. Silly thing, giving officers swords in the 20th century, but there it is in its decorative glory. Have to put it on a wall somewhere.

I have a genuine WWI German Bayonet with the Mark of Kaiser Wilhelm on it.
Also got a soviet bayonet...
And my favorite is a 1944 Afghani Officer's Sword with the mark of the very temporary king of the time.
Picked em all up in the 'Stan.
Also had an english WWI bayonet, but I gave it to my Dad and he has no respect for that kind of thing. I have no idea whad with it.~:mecry:
edit: oh ya. I also have My MArine NCO sword I won as honor grad of Sergeants Course. Forgot about that one because it isn't as cool as the other ones.

Those stupid hobby knives with thin breakable blades: lots.
Swiss Army Knife in my pocket. I'm always able to open a bottle of beer in style!
Two or three modern stainless steel work-grade knives, Mora or Fiskars or both. These are the things you use for cutting up plastic tubing, opening packages and whittling away at 2-by-2s in construction etc. Also a traditional murder weapon.
A couple of traditional souvenir puukko knives. Nothing special, except their carbon steel is easy to sharpen and the leather sheaths make it very easy to lose the knife when hiking.
A green Glock combat knife for real outdoors use. It looks good with my camo on reserve training, and you can open beer bottles with it too.

Just sold 8 of them , 18" in both leather(6) and fabric (2) though 1 was really Canadian . As I am mainly focusing on earlier ones as they are a better investment . I just hope I don't get caught out like I have with my WWII arial recon photos their price has gone through the floor . Damn Ministry of Defense flooding the market with its archives ~:mecry:

On topic for a reason that is lost in the mists of time I have a 1914 Prussian Infantry officers sword at home, which will no doubt be very handy when, err, well...?. I also got about 4 army machetes thrown in with some tea chests of armoured car spares at an MOD auction, which are very handy for machete type jobs. In case anyone was interested.
My collection is purely work based these days.

I also have two very high quality hand forged axes - one for limbing trees and the other for working logs for log houses. Two 8lb splitting axes for firewood, a standard hardware store axe, a small expendable hatchet, my lovely new Cold Steel Recon 1 folding knife, and a very small Gerber folding knife that I lose every time I find it.

I posted the creme of my collection in the flashlight thread day before yesterday. I have a couple of punch daggers too, which are sitting in my safe back in Reno (they are illegal to carry in most states). I also have a classic 4" folding and locking Buck knife (standard fare from my high school days; every guy had one it seemed).
As far a decorative blades go, I have Glamdring, an LoTR sword (the one that that Gandalf bore). I recently gave my Sting LoTR blade away to a friend. It was actually very well made (I've seen nice and really garbagy Sting blades on the market).

Yep them auctions are good , the machetes they sell at those "surplus" stores are crap , as are most you find in hardware stores , the genuine ones are hard wearing and comfortable on the hand (plus cheaper) as a good alternative at work to the machete I have purchased a couple of old W.D. meat cleavers at the auctions , they go through soft stone like its butter .

(1) antiques as an invesment .
(2) tools for work .
