Do the Romano-British emerge if another Roman faction takes Londonium?
I'm playing the ERE and I've reduced the WRE to Britain. I'm about to land a small invasion force to clear up the remnants of those retched pretenders. I know that if barbarian factions take Londonium, the Roman-British pop up but will they emerge if another Roman faction takes the city?

That is in fact an excellent question. I've only seen it occur once as the Celts after siezing Londinium but I never tried it as ERE, then again nor have I bothered expanding that much to the North West. Be sure to let us know how it goes.

Damn! My answer will have to wait. Just as I was about to land, a massive rebellion occurred in Gaul and Spain. My Magister militum ("Master of the Soldiers") who has become disloyal after several victories has assumed the purple and two legions have joined his cause. My Emperor in Milan will have to face him. In case your wondering why I would bother to conquer Britain, I’m trying to be historically accurate as possible and reuniting the Empire by 394. Theodosius the Great was the last Emperor to ever rule a united empire but only for a very short time.

Thats a pretty cool goal. Let us know how you get on. It lends a very nifty aspect to the campaign.

Thanks! I’m still in debate on whether I should take Petra (Nabatea) and Hatra (Assyria). Petra was part of the Roman Empire but the actual territory in the game extends far into Arabia. Hatra seems to be occupied by Romans and Persians in an endless tug of war. Also I’m not sure if Colchis should belong to Rome either (I got it through a loyalist revolt). Romans occupied coastal towns in the regions but their rule was pretty loose. Sorry if it seems really crazy but I enjoy trying to “recreate” history as accurately as possible.

The RB will emerge when ANY faction takes Eburacum and Londinium.

For me they´ve emerged when I was playing Celts, WRE, Saxons, Franks. I haven´t tried any other faction. Maybee they are coded to appear only with certain factions taking E&L but Í´ve never seen any postings regarding this.

I was playing as the Celts and had taken Eburacum and the WRE Rebels held Londinium and there was not a Romano-British Faction. But, as soon as I took the city of course they appeared and attacked. Luckily nothing stops Gallowglasses and Hounds. Certainly not King Arthur.
