How to change the color of the menu text?

Does anyone know how to change the color of the menu text to something less "yellow"? I want to change it to a shade of grey, as the yellow-gold color doesn't look very good with the blackish backgrounds I am using for my mod pack. Any help would be much appreciated :)

I think that's hardcoded, unfortunately.

Dang, I was hoping there was a .tga file, or a variable in a text file somewhere, thanks though.
