Game crashes

Hi everyone.
Since I can't post in other forums, I'll do it here.
I'm experiencing a serious trouble regarding RTW. Before installing BI, I was able to play campaigns for hours without any issues, but now, game simple crashes after 10 minutes to 1 hour. I gotta save every time after a turn or important battle won. I've lost entire campaigns because of this since after crashing, when I try to reload the saved game, I won't run.

(I'm from Spain. Actually it means: " Rome TW.exe has detected a problem and must close". "If it's during a process, working info might be lost", etc).

My BI is 1.4 , RTW is 1.3 (now), plus player1 BUX-FIXER (https://forums.totalwar.org/vb/showthread.php?t=55464), plus some few skins for greek faction... and that's it. No other mods, etc. I'm kindda new in this and I've never ever experienced such hardness before.
My computer features are:
-Radeon 9550 video card, 250 mb
-Pentium IV 2.8 gb
-1 Gb. Ram....
ie. more than just fine.
No problems regarding the language. RTW ran okay before.
What it might happen????? ~:confused:

hmmm, maybe you just need to re-install it, and if that doesn't work then manually in-install it. Or you could do a system restore...

As I have only recently bought the BI expansion pack I haven't installed it yet as I want to finish my current campaign. From what I've read in the manual, it seems that it might be better to uninstall RTW entirely, and then reinstall it first, without any patches, followed by BI which comes with the 1.3 patch. I'm not sure what the 1.4 patch is, but there is a warning in the installation instructions about installing the 1.2 patch after loading BI. I'm going to try and contact the recommended help websites and ask for some proffesional guidance.
