Looks like instead of kids enjoying a good family film, they got to see some perverted European film. If I was a parent, it would be lawyer time!!!

Well you can never start early enough with raising your children into cultured citizens. If they want, they can watch those Disney flicks for themselves when they turn eightteen. ~;pQuote:

lawyer time? why? they got to see the movie they paid for and received a free ticket, too. i could see "lawyer time" if there was some injury or something, but hey, if you want to spend the $ getting a lawyer for a case that will never make it to court, then that's your right.

Edit: of course breasts would be an example of indecency back in the day, now it would take a little more.
Edit2: inoppriate?
that's a good point. in america, any sexuality is considered morally indecent, but since the situation is death and/or violence (in a movie), it's a snowball's chance of anyone ruling against it in teh states.

Little exageration, but anyway, if they paid to see "Chicken Little" and instead this movie was played, causing moral damage, pehaps (~ ), then I see some ground to sue here.Quote:
"It's pandemonium," Joshua Gallo, 30, told the Daily News as he rushed out of the theater with his 5-year-old son and 1-year-old daughter. "The kids are crying. The mothers are screaming for the managers to stop the film."
Wait, 1-year-old doughter crying, hardly believable, a child that's not aware of what death is, or even what the person is doing...I find it hard to beleive.
Not now-a-days, although there may be a multitude of state laws in the nudity area that I don't know of, only if it were something like breasts during intercourse or very vulgar language. I don't know for sure though, because I don't know of any indecency cases since Pacifica, where they ruled that teh (evil) FCC could punish indecent speech at certain times but not outright stop it -- ~:joker: what's the difference, the government can't stop anyone from saying anything, they can only punish them after the fact? E.g. radio stations cannot, if they don't want a fine, broadcast vulgarities during the day because it is an invasive form of speech, same idea goes for cable companies although it is a bit more complex, see Denver Telecommunications.
Aaahahahahaa, oh my God stupidity knows no bounds. Guys, meet Andrea. European? D'uh. It's a Dominican movie, in fact teh acclaimed Latin American mystery and suspense drama based on a real story.Quote:

LOL- Perhaps he assumed that it was European because the article said it was an "Spanish" movie.Quote:

I think it’s awfully hard to get actors to actually kill themselves for a movie. It would have to be a really good movie. ~;pQuote:

Stuff happens. A tort would only be successful if the movie theater could have been shown to have been negligent in its response or to have purposefully made such a switch. Seems like they responded reasonably quickly and attempted to recompense viewers. Hardly grounds for a suit, however disturbing/frustrating for those kids involved.
Now, the twistoids who purposefully inserted bits of pornography into rental copies of Disney films as a prank (late 80's/ early 90's if I recall) were in a different category.
Suicide is, I submit, NOT an appropriate subject matter for those in single-digit ages. Violence and explicit sexuality probably should both be off-limits or minimized in that age frame as well. Yes, the USA has some internal consistency problems on this -- but we're not exactly alone in that.
Accidents happen, absolutely no need to involve the courts though.
Mind you Britain is getting just as bad as the US with people suing burger companies for making them fat and coffee outlets for making their drinks hot, people need to get a grip.
Have you ever considered a break from crack? Just a day or two - clear you head ~:joker:Quote:

no it actually mentions the name of the film. A simple google for andrea movie would surely turn it up.Quote:
